Erik began his career working in the social service world with children and teenagers who were struggling in life to find the balance between who they were and how they fit into the world around them in relationship to where they had already been in life. Over his career, he has continued to work with children, teenagers, and adults who suffer with diagnoses such as: bi polar, schizophrenia, PTSD, Autism, Aspersers, Borderline Personality Disorder, etc.
Lucas Pitman
MA, QMHP II, LPC
Lucas is a founding member of Empowering Choices Counseling and Consultation that opened for business in 2014. He has a Master's degree in Counseling from Corban University and has experience working with children, adolescents, adults, couples and groups. In addition to professional experience working with children in the foster care system, Lucas is raising two of his own children who test and expand his own parenting skills and abilities on a daily basis. Lucas combines his personal experience, professional experience, and education when helping and supporting others to be their best and achieve their goals.
Joshua Lindley

Joshua will be your host and guide through your parenting journey with Empowering Choices. He has years of experience working with middle and high school students and their parents. Joshua has traveled the country as a professional speaker at youth camps and retreats. He also recently became the parent of a very active baby boy! You will find him hosting the Empowering Choices Podcast as well as guiding you in various places throughout the app and website.
